This single-origin coffee originates in the central part of the island of Java, in the fertile volcanic soils of the Temanggung regency, with its tropical climate and soil rich in minerals and nutrients. The combination of altitude and these unique elements, together with meticulous selection and unusual processing for a Robusta, makes it an elite Robusta, a Fine Robusta with a unique and refined profile.

The beans used in this coffee are typical and unique high-quality coffees harvested directly from small farmers who cultivate them in accordance with local traditions. Their association, the JYN Group, works and is committed to forest maintenance, sustainability, syntropic and regenerative agriculture, and fair trading, strongly believing that man and nature are part of a community that exchanges resources, with mutual respect for the conditions and well-being of man and the environment. Only the ripest, carefully selected cherries are pulped within a few hours, leaving the beans enveloped in sugary mucilage to undergo controlled fermentation in water tanks for 12-36 hours, a process known as Fully Washed, which enhances the purity and complexity of the aromatic profile. After being thoroughly washed to remove any pulp residue, they are left to dry slowly and naturally in the sun on raised beds until they reach the ideal quality. The result is surprising: an extraordinarily clean cup with a more pronounced natural sweetness. It smells of fine cocoa, sweet tobacco, and dried fruit with notes of dark chocolate, fine spices, and cedar wood on the palate. All wrapped in a hint of dark caramel. The aftertaste is long and persistent, fading into nuts and an elegant spiciness.
