Rwanda, a land of a thousand hills, with its fertile volcanic soil at high altitude rich in nitrogen and still active volcanoes, its temperate tropical climate and prevailing equatorial fog, is ideal for high-quality coffee. RUANDA Imigongo

The Imigongo farm takes its name from the popular art form of the same name typical of Rwanda, traditionally created by women: geometric and spiral patterns in black, white and red, a true national symbol.

This micro-lot represents the excellence of Coffea Canephora, and the Nganda variety, with its strong, full-bodied aroma, offers particularly low acidity.

Grown at around 1,500 metres above sea level, a rare altitude for a Robusta, it has been processed to the highest quality standards: controlled fermentation, fully washed processing and maximum attention at every stage.

The altitude allows it to develop more complex sugars and it has a clean and intriguing profile in the cup: chocolate and cedar in a syrupy body with a thick crema, ideal for espresso and equally fantastic with other extraction methods.
