Description and details
This speciality coffee comes from the Nariño region, in the heart of Colombia, in the far south on the border with Ecuador – one of the most prestigious regions for high-quality coffee. The volcanic soil of Mount Galeras, which towers over the region, the high altitudes, the cool temperatures and the intense sunshine encourage the slow ripening of the coffee cherries, resulting in sweet, complex and elegant coffees.

Colombia Supremo Nariño Monarca
Farm Monarca’s coffee is the result of the work of the second generation of a family of coffee professionals, who directly select and oversee every stage of the supply chain, from identifying the finest batches to processing and logistics, working side by side with local producers and communities.
Like the journey of the monarch butterfly, every coffee bean symbolises a transformation from something small and humble into something truly majestic, and embodies a story of resilience and rebirth, nourished by nature.
Each harvest not only preserves the essence of the Colombian coffee tradition, but also creates opportunities and supports the livelihoods of local families, whose care and dedication infuse every bean with passion.
Café Monarca is more than just coffee; it is a celebration of pure, natural growth and of the beauty that bridges two worlds.
Every cup offers a little piece of Honduras and the full flavour of Colombia and its mountains, where the air is pure and the soil fertile; a coffee that reflects the
transformation of nature itself, and a story of family and transformation.
The distinctive and characteristic traits of Nariño coffees, their bright acidity, natural sweetness and excellent clarity in the cup – are expressed here to their full potential.
Notes of cane sugar, mandarin, yellow-fleshed fruit and cocoa beans are enhanced in the cup by a bright citrus acidity and a refined sweetness that leads
to a clean and lingering finish.
