This special microlot of only 5 hectares is grown in Yunnan, on a farm that exclusively produces quality coffee grown and processed only by women of various ethnic groups, with the aim of promoting and supporting gender equality and social equity. In the cup, the coffee is very balanced, with hints of tropical fruit and red fruit. It has a sweet taste with notes of vanilla and cane sugar, a good body and a very pleasant slight malic acidity. This microlot of speciality coffee grows in Yunnan and is named after the two adjacent villages in Menglian Dai: Banka Yi and Banka Er. Yunnan Coffee Traders produces a plantation that serves its highest quality coffee only to those who care about sustainability, traceability and transparency. Mr Hu's farm Banka, in fact, produces only fine coffees grown and processed only by women from various ethnic groups mainly from the Lahu ethnic group (living in China, Myanmar, Laos and Thailand), to support gender equality and social equity. Its microlots are born only with sustainable and innovative practices; it supplies its product only to those who respect and work to maintain the same principles. This very special microlot to which Mr. Hu's farm has dedicated only 5 hectares, is fermented dry for over 18 hours and then dried for 8 days on raised boards. The result in the cup is remarkable: a really very balanced coffee, a good body and a very pleasant slight malic acidity.
