Panama Bouquete Santo Domingo

The small valley of Bouquete, known for its biodiversity, is the highest point in Panama; the slopes of the Barù Volcano offer perfect conditions: organic and rich soil, high altitude, balanced rainfall. The shade slows down the ripening of the beans, making them tastier. Since the first immigrants in the 1800s, the community has passed on the culture and passion for coffee and its innovation from generation to generation. Due to the steep cultivation area near the volcano, harvesting is only possible by hand: unlike mechanical processes, each bean is individually controlled to ascertain its degree of ripeness and quality and choose it perfectly. This single-origin Panama Bouquete SHB has a very special taste that brings on earthy, rustic tones, with high acidity and a lingering brightness with every sip. It is no coincidence that many consider it one of the best coffees in the world.
