Description and details

Our organic decaffeinated coffee has an aftertaste with aromatic cocoa notes. From raw, the coffee is stringently decaffeinated through a natural process with H20, without the use of chemicals to avoid losing the special taste and aroma of the black and rare coffee. 

 

The roasting is: 

  • slow, to give each bean the right amount of time to develop and a perfect texture
  • light, to respect its quality and bring out all its individual nuances
  • dedicated, in microlots and as required, to ensure a fresh mix at all times
  • 100% handcrafted exclusively by the over 20 years' experience of a true artisan roaster

The chain that leads a coffee to be certified Organic Coffee or Organic Coffee is strict and precise. 

Starting from the beginning, Organic Certification starts with coffee beans grown without the use of chemical fertilisers, additives and pesticides. 

All harvesting, processing and transport procedures must be recognised as organic by an international body, which guarantees consumers that the product is authentically produced. 

 

In recent years, the awareness of organic and certified coffees has been growing: the products are increasingly in demand globally and the protocols certifying them are becoming stricter. It is very important to talk about "organic" as today's trend towards a more sustainable future. 

 

Caffè Fusari has chosen to take this path since 2004, the year in which we obtained certification as organic operators, researching and selecting coffee from projects inspired by the environmental, social and economic sustainability of the production chain. 

As a confirmation of the unique care and respect we devote to our coffee, in 2014 we obtained the status of Certified Organic Operator from Bios srl (Inspection and Certification Body for organic production methods in accordance with Reg. EC 834/07 and 889/08 authorised by the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry), and Certification for the processing, marketing and serving of coffee and organic products.
