A truly fair trade coffee, harvested in an all-women's cooperative and grown using natural methods and fair policies. 

 

This particularly balanced coffee has aromas of nuts and coconut. 

 

The taste is reminiscent of pineapple and candied fruit.

RUANDA TWONGERE KAWA COKO

This of the Twongere Kawa Coko Cooperative is a truly fair and supportive specialty: harvested by women alone who are guaranteed all the rights and fair compensation, while preserving the protection of the Rwandan environment. 

 

Born on the initiative of coffee experts who produce exceptional coffee on the hills of Rwanda, with a temperate climate and particularly fertile soil thanks to the presence of numerous volcanoes, the cooperative is composed and run by women and today their coffee has obtained organic and Fairtrade certifications. 

 

The ongoing training of the workers on the best agricultural practices and professional processing techniques to obtain the best return for those who grow it, has borne surprising fruits: the plants of the cooperative thrive producing beautiful large and full-bodied beans, with aromas of fruits and flowers. Recognition for this particularly well-balanced coffee specialty was not lacking even on the international scene, which also saw it star in the SCA Roasting championship world championship and Italian championships as a single-origin.
